“I Want Sexy Arms…”

So you want sexy arms? Don’t we all ladies? So what is holding you back from a few simple exercises, perhaps some supplements, and mindset to get it done? YOU CAN!

Collagen is derived from the Greek word meaning “glue” or to hold together.  It is essential and vital, hard to find in our day-to-day foods, and will help you feel better and look younger.

Let’s face it, not all of us enjoy eating meat for whatever reason. But the facts remain that people who do eat clean meat (hormone, antibiotic free and humanely raised) enjoy the benefits of increased lean muscle mass, lower fat mass, and increased athletic performance.

But by consuming only the meat, we are missing out on the essential amino acids, mostly only found in fish and mammals, that will provide you with longevity as well when you pair up the collagen with the power of the protein from the meat.

And for all of you wanting to build muscle as you age, by supplementing with collagen you will need less protein from animals to build lean muscle mass. Bonus!

Collagen is an amazing powerhouse amino acid that I have added to my daily protocol. It is the main component of connective tissue and the most abundant protein found in our bodies.

It’s found in our skin, blood vessels, our muscles, ligaments, tendons, and even our bones. It’s found in every joint and tendon in our body, which is why it is crucial for healing, repair, and longevity that we have an adequate supply everyday.

Collagen production decreases with age and a few signs that you may be low in collagen would be wrinkles, sun damage, injuries that won’t heal, dry skin, and joint pain.

5 reasons to add collagen to your daily routine

1. Boosts your metabolism. That’s right! Build muscle and burn fat. Simple.

2. Deeper sleep! My sleep goddesses, doesn’t this sound lovely? 3 grams of glycine from collagen before bed (like a cup of bone broth or 1 tbsp. in your smoothie) helps you sleep better and you will feel less “foggy” the next day.

3. Amazing tool for the skin. Gives it lift and resiliency, improving elasticity and decreasing wrinkles. It reduces stretch marks and cellulite as your skin thins with age. Smile:)

4. Improves digestive system. Collagen can heal gut permeability because it can heal and seal the gut preventing unwanted particles from getting into the bloodstream and causing unnecessary inflammation. More often than not the inflammation shows up as acid reflux, RA, IBS, Crohn’s disease, and many more. You get the idea.

5. Decreases joint pain and degeneration. As we age, our joints become stiffer and collagen can help our joints to continue to move with ease and reduce inflammation in the joints (including improving Rheumatoid Arthritis and other painful joint related conditions). Collagen has shown to provide quicker healing times from joint injuries.

I am proud to say I am taking the 30-day Collagenblu challenge for the next 30 days and noting my results along the way.

These founders are in Atlanta Georgia and the testimonies from women have been extraordinary! I encourage you to join me in the challenge and let’s stay looking young and feeling young together.

More on the founders below…

Collagenblu is a marine source based collagen. This product has no taste and won’t change the texture of your smoothie as much as some of the others. I noticed a positive change in my digestive system immediately after trying this product and the dryness in my legs is going away! I overstrained my left hamstring last week doing a headstand on my paddleboard without warming up…and I gotta say it healed up in no time and I was able to modify and still teach my yoga classes that week and now am back to climbing and training for an upcoming trip. Now that’s a fast turnaround. I absolutely love it!
