Do you give away your power?

I am an avid believer in coaches. They hold us accountable and help us to make lasting change. They give us tools, support us when we feel unsupported, and we can lean on them and use their faith in us when we tend to lose sight of our own.

Now, there is also a term: “Too many cooks in the kitchen!”

I have been working on re-branding, launching my new website, and upleveling my team …it’s been such an exhilarating and powerful experience. And the best is yet to come!

Identifying where I need support and where I can delegate out to experts has been powerful. Recognizing, that at the end of the day, I will be the one to have the final say on the look and feel of the new Shannon Lee, has been an empowering act of self-validation.

We often look for other external forces to validate us, make us feel good. Maybe it’s the compliment from our hubby when we get our hair done, or recognition from our boss when we exceed our quota for the month.

It’s one of our life lessons and life responsibilities to love ourselves, more than anyone can ever love us. Period.

Can you say, “I love you” to yourself, and how does it feel?

So understanding that YES everyone is here to help you in all ways and finding that balance between receiving help and feeling the gratitude is key to finding a balance in power.

Listening to your intuition and trusting your inner knowing will guide you to make decisions in all areas of your life that will feed your soul and align you with your highest and best good.

Say hello to a Power Surge and I am not talking about menopause ladies…this is a self-ignited, “I more than got this” statement.

If you find yourself having issues with your core, throwing your back out, or any kind or digestive issues, know that your third chakra could be sending you a flag that you, my dear, have given your power away.

Our power is harnessed in our Solar Plexus Chakra (third chakra) and radiates a warm deep yellow glow in the mind’s eye.  Mentally it rules thoughts of will power, control (over others and self), beliefs, details, judgment of others, and perfectionist type behaviors.

Any of these thought patterns resonate with you?

The theme of my life and many of my clients’ is finding balance. So I like to share what can help us create an awareness when things tend to slide out of alignment.

It’s not about being perfect and getting it right, it’s about listening to the body – it will speak to you, if you listen. And then you can adjust.

You can use powerful affirmation statements that start with “I am” to overcome any limited beliefs or negativity that has manifested in the body.

One of my clients loves to use “I am safe and secure” to establish a grounded connection first thing in the morning.

Affirmations are best when repeated 3 times or as many times you need to say it until you can actually start to believe it yourself.

We will be diving into more emotional work and healing the gut in my fall group program: Heal your gut and love your body.

Wherever you are on this journey, be with yourself, love yourself and, love what arises emotionally.

Enjoy this powerful video by one of my favorite spiritual mentors that is paving the way for a love revolution and it all starts with you!
