Hi! My name is Shannon Lee, I’m a wellness warrior, a mountain lover and climber, and a queen of one more. I have a passion for learning and my intention is to lead a divinely inspired rockin’ life. My mission is to inspire thousands of lives
in a positive healthy way, motivating people to be bold, uncomfortable, and take charge of their health. In my programs, I will help get you on the path to a positive, life-affirming, whole food based, and nourishing way of living that is delicious and
sustainable. Together, we connect with, and quiet, that unruly inner child that demands “one more” (potato chip, rock climb, email, five minute snooze, glass of wine, or piece of chocolate).

I specialize in working with women by giving them the tools and support to lose weight and sustain it, and build the stamina they need to lead an extraordinary life. I offer several programs that combine customized, delicious, whole-food-based nutrition and stress management tools to help women find their ideal shape and size and keep it for the long haul. My
clients consistently share that they know what to eat to maintain their ideal weight, how to manage overwhelm and anxiety, and have more energy for their life and loved ones.


My Approach

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.

Together we’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.

My Training

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.


Shannon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Associates degree in Accounting, is a graduate of the Asheville Yoga Center teacher training, and a graduate at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  She is also a Certified Stress Management Coach for Biofeedback and Board Certified Natural Therapist.  Shannon has presented workshops all over the country in massage therapy and natural healing therapies.  She has been a yoga teacher since 2007 and has been a coach since 2003.

She has been a Wellness Coordinator for the JuicePlus Company for over 16 years and hosts free in home (and office) health education events to support her mission in sharing healthy living in her community. She has been a proud sponsor of the Juiceplus+ Children’s Health Study, sponsoring over 50 families, improving their health and lifestyle.  Shannon hosts quarterly Prevention Plus lectures throughout the Southeast with medical doctors, naturopaths, pediatricians, and other health professionals in the field of nutrition and prevention.

She enjoys living in the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, NC where she enjoys lake life, climbing, hiking, laughing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

The Rose of Sharon is a non-profit foundation, empowering people to take charge of their health thru education and personal experience.  Shannon founded this organization to honor her mother and her courageous journey by supporting others in becoming the highest and healthiest individuals they inspire to be.
